Coppell Oak manufactures a range of furniture using only the finest quality, green, unseasoned English Oak. Traditional pegged, mortis and tennon joints are used throughout the range and any screws or fittings are high quality stainless steel to avoid corrosion and staining. Oak has a density of approximately 0.75 g/cm3, great strength and hardness, and is very resistant to insect and fungal attack because of its high tannin content. As such, Oak is an ideal material to use for garden furniture.
